Tom Parslow grew up in Southern California. After completing his military service in the US Army, he received a BS in Physics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Master’s in Physics from California State University, Northridge. He later pursued additional studies in chemistry and history of science. His principal interests are evolution, belief formation, complexity theory, and philosophy.
